Vueling's free hand luggage is 40 × 20 × 30 cm — the same volume as Ryanair and Wizz Air's 40 × 30 × 20, just rotated. A soft bag built to Ryanair's spec passes Vueling's sizer on its side, so one bag covers all three airlines.
The rules
- Every fare includes 1 free personal item at 40 × 20 × 30 cm (or 40 × 30 × 20 depending on orientation).
- For a large cabin bag (55 × 40 × 20 cm, 10 kg) upgrade to Optima or Family fare, or pay separately.
- Vueling is part of the IAG group (like Iberia and BA) so gate enforcement is generally reasonable.
