Vueling hand luggage allowance
40 × 30 × 20 cm free on every fare — the same size as Ryanair's.
Vueling's free under-seat bag is 40 × 30 × 20 cm — exactly the same footprint as Ryanair and Wizz Air, so one bag covers all three. The larger 55 × 40 × 20 cm overhead bag depends on your bundle: Fly Light doesn't include it, the Fly bundle makes you choose between it and a hold bag, and Fly Grande includes both.
The rules
- Every fare includes 1 free under-seat bag at 40 × 30 × 20 cm, including handles and wheels.
- The overhead cabin bag (55 × 40 × 20 cm, 10 kg) comes with Fly Grande, Space One/Space Plus seats, or can be bought separately.
- On the standard Fly bundle you choose either the cabin bag or a checked bag — not both.
- An oversize under-seat bag or an oversize cabin bag is checked in at the gate — €60–€75 for an oversize under-seat bag, €110–€140 for an oversize cabin bag.
- Vueling is part of the IAG group (like Iberia and British Airways), but the gate sizers are still enforced.

FAQ
What is Vueling's hand luggage size in 2026?+
40 × 30 × 20 cm for the free under-seat bag, including handles and wheels. There is no published weight limit, but it has to fit completely under the seat.
Does Vueling charge for hand luggage?+
No — the under-seat bag is free with every fare. Only the larger 55 × 40 × 20 cm overhead cabin bag depends on your bundle or an add-on.
Will my Ryanair bag pass on Vueling?+
Yes. Vueling's free allowance is the same 40 × 30 × 20 cm, so a Ryanair-compliant bag passes without changing anything.
