From 1 May 2026, TUI aligned its hand luggage rules with the low-cost airline standard: one free under-seat bag at 40 × 30 × 20 cm, up to 10 kg. A larger overhead cabin bag now costs £10 online. Package holiday customers with paid hold bags are unaffected by the free-allowance change.
The rules
- Every ticket includes 1 free under-seat bag at 40 × 30 × 20 cm, up to 10 kg.
- For a larger 55 × 40 × 20 cm cabin bag: £10 online (£20 at the airport).
- TUI package holidays including hold bag allowance keep their full allowance — this change only affects hand luggage on flight-only or optional-extras fares.
- Oversize / extra bag at gate: £60 fine.
